Visualize Landlords In Jail

DA Terence Hallinan is prosecuting a landlord on criminal charges for doing a phony OMI eviction and then re-renting the apartment for 4 times the rent allowed (under the OMI law, units can only be re-rented for the same rent the evicted tenant was paying). The law says the rent could not exceed $650—the landlord rented the apartment for $2,700, raking in over $25,000.
