Campaign!!
This
is it—our last chance to get out the vote and beat Prop 98. We have a well
organized Get Out The Vote Operation with Yes on F, SEIU, Sierra Club &
others. We need volunteers though.
Please come to our GOTV HEADQUARTERS AT
2797 16TH ST (At Folsom—2 blocks from Mission; 22 & 33 buses
stop at Folsom)anytime after 11 AM today, Election Day, to help update our
voting lists and then contact tennats who haven’t voted.
TUESDAY—ELECTION DAY—JUNE 3—POLL “PURGING” & NON-VOTERS

This is the key part of our GOTV (Get Out
The Vote) Strategy—We need your help!
12 Noon—Poll Purging In our 25 key
precincts, we need at least 25 people who can help out starting at Noon (after
a short training) to go out to the polling places and begin updating our voter
lists to show who has and hasn’t voted and to begin going door to door in that
precinct.
4:00 PM—Non-Voter Contact. By 4 PM we
will need to get 2-4 more people out to those key precincts where non-voters
have been identified. We will knock on the doors of tenants who haven’t voted,
trying to get them to the polls before they close. TURNOUT IS OUR KEY TO SAVING
RENT CONTROL AND THIS IS THE MOST EFFECTIVE WAY TO INCREASE TURNOUT!
And then, at 8:30 PM OUR BIG VICTORY
PARTY!!!! At El Rio, 3158 Mission St (Near Cesar Chavez)
